Fabulous scenery, from Wales it's a long drag to the top of the Devils' Staircase and a plummet down towards Builth Wells.
These images above were taken in 1983 when I toured South Wales with a friend, Martin. That's me in the leftmost picture. This was the route home which included a stop at Glascwm Youth Hostel, now sadly gone.
