The home of the 6-day. A group of us from West Bromwich CTC went to Ghent in 1985 to see the Ghent 6 which was held in the old Sportspalais. What a fantastic night, of course Saturday is "British night" because hordes of Brits descend on this quaint city and raid the bike shops for bargains, they are so set-up for us, prices were shown in Sterling!

I think this was one of the coldest days I have ever experienced, we spent the day dodging into coffee shops to keep warm then an hour in the castle to see the torture instruments from medieval times.
