Kinver edge is an SSSI and is a local favourite with ramblers and casual walkers. Not sure how many square miles it covers but it will take over an hour to walk around the perimeter. We spend many hours at Kinver, walking around the woodland and commonland. Fabulous views from the edge over Shropshire.

There is a nearby maze of tunnels at Drakelow which was an MOD place during World War II and latterly the Cold War. Now decommissioned there have been some sightseeing trips down there but the whole site is in a dangerous state.
